A petition against animal abuse (I can't sign it because I don't know my own postal code, plus it'll prolly make mail come in) here [link] . Anne the beagle died, her sister lived.

[link] Well I saw this in Hiphopqueen's journal, :hug kudos to you. Clicks = mammograms = ...Well its a kind of breast cancer test. There's tabs in the link which lead to other things to click, such as help for animals and the hungry.

USEFUL PC STUFF
McAfee Siteadvisor: [link] Download it, and it can warn you of bad or potentially bad sites with a logo in the corner of the screen. Red is bad, grey is unknown, yellow is potentially bad and green is all fine and dandy.

Spybot Search and Destroy: [link] Free antivirus software that is easy to kill viruses with, and comes with updates, other languages and no spyware I've noticed.

INTERNET WARNINGS
Horay, I am about to warn of some of the stuff that is obvious and evil and on the nets.

Fake virus programs: Spamblocker looks like one to me, the free ones lurking around on the nets carry a high risk. They are programs disguised a virus-killing software, which are actually viruses themselves. Be wary and do a lil' research before downloading stuff, and don't trust the pop ups.

Child porn: Its a touchy subject, and fact is, it exists - if the sites have images or videos containing abused children, then I feel safe to say they are definitely illegal in heaps of countries. When people go look at those or download stuff from them for the obvious wrong reasons, then they are supporting the abuse the way a person who buys non-fairtrade products does, kinda. If you get found out having it on your PC, you can get charged and put in jail (I'm not sure if the same applies to anime images). I suggest you don't go looking for them and report any...Somehow.

Pro ed sites: It means pro eating disorder, and I typed up this with pro ana sites in mind. Just DON'T look at them if you plan on having an eating disorder or whatever, they ultimately help you kill yourself and encourage to do so (Although the house of thin one screws me over so much I can't tell if its pro, in the middle, switches viewpoints so it can play Devil's advocate or just plain stupid, I think it teaches you can live with an eating disorder and that it offers more friendly help than certain therapies ¬¬, I don't care what they argue, its not a choice, its an eating disorder that...Oh what the heck, I'm ranting, it bothers me and they even have bracelets. Even if it is a choice, its screwed up.

Pro self harm sites: A quick google search shows they exist. Its kinda hard to sum up what's so wrong about non-fatal damage, but I've been down that before and DON'T GO THERE, there's better ways to deal with stuff and I kinda still have the addiction, I just resist I think.

VEGANISM
Well I started it recently due to studying the nets and watching a slaughterhouse vid. Just wanna say you can get your nutritional requirements without eating fuzzies and by taking B12 supplements. Warning: The following is disturbingly violent and could put you off yout food.
Some animals risk not getting killed first and dying from the scalding tanks used to remove hair and feathers in factories.
Dairy cows and egg-laying chickens get killed (after 2 years/maybe egg laying seasons for the egg hens, 5-6 years for the cow) when their productivity wanes. A cow has to be impregnated to make milk. The calves are taken from her, and the females are killed for rennet (which goes into cheese) or kept as future dairy cows. The males can be shot or become veal.
Male egg chicks don't make good meat, so they can be kept for breeding stock or be suffocated, minced alive or crushed to death.

That's pretty much why I am a vegan. I don't think I can trust the food conpanies anymore, plus people don't seem to know what suffering goes in their food.
